Industrial/Organizational Psychology - Curriculum

Our curriculum begins with core courses in business and psychology.  Then your coursework can be tailored to your interests.  You can focus on Human Resources or Organizational Development, or take courses in both disciplines.

  • View the MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology program requirements on the flowsheet.

Our internship placements are customized.  Whether you want to work in human resources or organizational development, try personnel testing or evaluate corporate performance, we help you find an internship that fits your needs.  The internship happens after one year of academic work, allowing you to apply your learning to the workplace.

"Our curriculum follows guidelines set by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Inc. (SIOP), so students will learn industry concepts and standards - and use those concepts and standards in their daily jobs."  Dr. Teresa Lyons, Professor of Psychology
