Economics Department Speaker Series

The Economics Department Speaker Series provides a forum for practical economic discussions.  Presenters have included corporate executives, faculty members, and students all sharing the common theme of applied economics.  Anyone interested in presenting at this forum should contact Professor Kevin Beckwith.  The series is sponsored jointly by the Economics Department and the Economics Club.

Recent speakers have included:

  • David McCue describing his company's economic response to increased demand for environmentally friendly products
  • Julie Bernwick of Money Management International discussing the importance of personal financial awareness.
  • Nikki Tassinari presented her preliminary research centered around asset mapping and housing developments.
