Recording Production I introduces students to current technology and techniques. Discussions will focus on multi-tracking, live recording, microphone selection and placement, computer software and hardware (including principles of signal flow), recording techniques and signal processing. Three lecture hours per week. A minimum of 3 hours additional lab work per week are required. Prerequisites: MUS 114, MUS 119, and MUS 120.
