Undergraduate
Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) offers a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with a variety of concentration options. Also featured are specialized minors taught in conjunction with other academic departments. IDS Special Programs include the Freshman Seminar, the Honors Program, and the Language Intensive Interdisciplinary Program.
Bachelor of Liberal Studies
The Bachelor of Liberal Studies allows a student to follow a specific 36-credit interdisciplinary plan of study in one of four liberal studies concentrations. The remaining elective credits are to be used to fulfill at least one of the following: a concentration in Educational Studies, an additional concentration in Liberal Studies, or another major or minor. Free electives will be determined by these choices.
Minors
There are currently eleven interdisciplinary minors that offer a unique opportunity to meet students' research and educational needs. We encourage interested students to contact each minor coordinator directly for more information.
