An in-depth study of a topic or topics permitting qualified students to explore relationships among various influential factors in historical development before 1715 A.D. Readings, discussions, and historiographical inquiry will aid in the assessment of historical phenomena from varied perspectives. Fulfills half of the All-College core requirement in History. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for HIS110H.
