This course is a study of beaches, coasts and the factors that govern their form and variability from tectonics to hydrographic regime. Additional foci will include beach dynamics, coastal hazards related to erosion, and the effect of human intervention along the coast. Three lecture hours and three hours of lab per week. Limited to 16 students.
