BA (Licenciatura): Anglogermanic Philology, 1985 Universidad de Oviedo, Spain

M.A. / Ph.D. in Hispanic Literatures, UMASS Amherst, 1996.

Professor of Spanish Language and Literature at the World Languages and Cultures Department.  Specialized in Contemporary Literature of Spain, Women's Writings and Film of Spain and Latin America, Spanish as a Foreign Language and Study Abroad.

Study Abroad Advisor for the Center for International Education at SSU helping students embark in the advantages of an international education.  

Coordinator for Spanish abroad Programs for the World Langauegs & Cultures Department at the Undergraduate and Graduate Level.
