BA (Licenciatura): Anglogermanic Philology, 1985 Universidad de Oviedo, Spain

M.A. / Ph.D. in Hispanic Literatures, UMASS Amherst, 1996.

Professor of Spanish Language and Literature at the Foreign Languages Department.  Specialized in Contemporary Literature of Spain, Women's Writings of Spain and Latin America, Spanish as a Foreign Language and Study Abroad.

Study Abroad Advisor for the Center for International Education at SSC helping students embark in the advantages of an international education.  

Coordinator for Spanish abroad Programs for the Foreign Languages Department at the Undergraduate and Graduate Level.
