Description

A continuation of Elementary Chinese I (CHI 101). This course will further develop the basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing Chinese. Building upon the vocabulary and sentence structure taught in the first semester, student will learn more useful expressions and sentence structures necessary for use in everyday conversational situations. Students will also continue to learn to read and write Chinese characters and will write short essays in Chinese. Students will also continue to explore various aspects of Chinese culture and society. Three lectures hours per week.
