Description
The major focus of the course is on Jack Kerouac and his development as an artist beginning with his first novel and subsequent writings. The interaction for Kerouac with other beat writers, such as Allen Ginsberg and Gregory Corso, will also be considered. Audio-visual materials will supplement the lectures and discussions. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for ENG486.
