Description
An exploration of the works of Irish and Irish-American writers of the twentieth century. These writers produced some of the richest drama, short stories, novels, and poetry in the English language. Such writers as Joyce, O'Casey, Lady Gregory, O'Connor, O'Faolain, O'Neill, O'Brien, Powers, and Breslin will be considered. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for ENG260.
