Sam Cannata '11, Management (Pre-Law and Economics)
“Bozeman, Montana, my hometown, is a long way from Salem State University. In fact, I didn’t know about Salem State until my best friend decided to attend. Hockey was my primary reason for coming to Salem and I have been a member of the team for three years and am currently a captain.
I have found Salem State to be an excellent school. My academic experience in the Bertolon School of Business has been extremely rewarding. The small class sizes and accessible professors allow for tremendous interaction with the faculty. I chose a management major because of the many opportunities in the field, but have expanded my options with two minors, pre-law and economics. I have become active in the school as a peer mentor and a student leader as well as being an officer in Delta Mu Delta, the business honor society.
I hope after graduation to attend either law school or a business school for a MBA. The education I have received at Salem State has allowed me to contemplate those career paths.”
