We offer both bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in chemistry, as well as minors in both chemistry and physics. Secondary Ed Minors are also supported in chemistry. Our curriculum will prepare you for careers or further study in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, medicine, dentistry, computer, health & environmental sciences, oceanography, business, law, and teaching.
The BS curriculum is approved by the American Chemical Society Committee on Professional Training which will, upon faculty recommendation, certify students who satisfactorily complete this course of study.
Department of chemistry and physics academic policy effective beginning Fall 2010:
Chemistry majors are required to receive a grade of C or higher in all chemistry and physics courses in order to graduate.
