Ana Chadbourne, Pursuing BA Spanish

Ana Chadbourne

Ana Chadbourne works full-time while pursuing her BA in Spanish, with a Professional concentration, through Continuing Education. Her job as the Spanish-speaking clerk for the City of Lynn allows her to use her Spanish skills to translate city documents, interpret for Spanish-speaking citizens who come to City Hall, and work with various branches of city affairs, such as the Election commission. She is also a Justice of the Peace and Notary Public who performs marriage ceremonies in Spanish and English. A native speaker of Spanish, Ana took time off from her undergraduate studies to raise her two children. She enjoys her job with the City of Lynn, and it was always her goal to complete her bachelor's degree. She is now in the final stages of her studies at Salem State and looking forward to continuing to serve the Spanish-speaking community on the North Shore.
