Graphic Design Certificate

Salem State College has designed this certificate program for those individuals who wish to further their education in the world of art and design. Graphic design focuses on providing print and non-print media resources for businesses and other organizations. Trained professionals in this field provide solutions to many complex design and advertising problems, as well as develop the actual printed media piece.

Salem State College's Art Major Program is nationally accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). The certificate program in Graphic Design combines an intensive program of training in the technical knowledge and skills of the computer graphics field with a rigorous academic program in art and design. This program deals with the planning and design of graphic materials for advertising, desktop publishing, corporate art, graphic production and interactive multimedia.
