This course provides an overview of current research on learning a second language including linguistic, cognitive, socio-emotional, and cultural factors. Students will investigate the process of language acquistion through an in-depth case study of an English learner. Prerequisite: ENG 770N or EDU 791N - Theories and Principles in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
This class has minimum technical requirements.
