Student Testing
Testing occurs during Orientation and at periodic times during the academic year. Testing is also administered for students being considered for admissions to Salem State and students in need of diagnostic prescriptive assessments. These tests are used to determine student's skills development needs in reading, writing, math and computer literacy. Testing also occurs throughout the year on an individual basis to satisfy competency-based skills requirements.
