Academic Advising

graduating students

Academic advising is the foundation upon which a student develops his or her academic program. Through academic advising, students identify and explore the educational opportunities available at Salem State. Meeting regularly with an advisor, students plan their programs, complete degree requirements and benefit from a mentor/mentee relationship with a member of the faculty or the academic advising center professional staff.

Effective fall 2013:  academic advising will be moving into the NEW Salem State Library, first floor in the Learning Commons!
