The retirement management analyst designation is a rigorous educational and ethics training curriculum that teaches financial advisors the Retirement Income Industry Association’s (RIIAsm) advisory  process. The RMAsm designation is focused specifically on key concepts and practical applications of retirement income planning and management, as well as the construction of portfolios to support retirement income. It does not cover the basics of retirement rules (IRAs, employer plans, etc.) or investments and other retirement income products and services that are covered in many other traditional venues. Manual for Compliance Officer.

Based on the on-going work of RIIA’s education committee, the primary goal is to clarify the role that financial advisors and their clients play in the creation of retirement income.

This one-week “Bootcamp” seminar will be based on RIIA’s RMA Body of Knowledge. The RMABOK and curriculum include the diversity of perspectives from across every “silo” in the financial industry including insurance, investment, advisory, public policy, and academic worlds. Learn more!

In addition to the RMABOK, students will receive an additional text and workbook. The RMA exam (optional/additional fee) will be administered on the final day of class.  Refreshments and lunch are included in the course fee.
