PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION – SUMMER AND FALL 2013 PARTICIPANTS
To best prepare you for your studies abroad, the Center for International Education (CIE) has organized a mandatory study abroad orientation program for all summer and fall 2013 study abroad participants.
DATE: Reading Day, Thursday, May 2, 2013
TIME: 3-4:30 pm
LOCATION: Harrington Building, Room 201, South Campus
WHAT TO BRING: passport, health insurance information
Please also invite your parents so that we can provide them information and answer any of their questions as well.
Salem State University requires all study abroad students to fill out various release forms, insurance documents, and financial documents before leaving for their studies abroad. It is, therefore, mandatory that you attend the orientation to fill out the required forms.
Additionally, if you have not paid the SSU registration fee, you will be required to do so at this time. Until you pay the fee, we will not be able to register you as a study abroad student or transfer any of your overseas credits so it is important that we receive this payment before or at the orientation.
