Salem State's academic programs are grounded in the tradition of a strong core in the arts and sciences. Additionally, we provide our students with the necessary skills and abilities for a variety of professional careers. The College is proud to be a learner-centered institution that prepares its students to attend graduate school or to achieve success in just about every career imaginable.
Our outstanding and credentialed faculty and our dedicated staff are here for the purpose of helping our students succeed in their field of study in a safe, caring environment, which also provides opportunities for personal growth. The faculty continually seek ways to keep their classes current and their presentation styles interesting and challenging. Many faculty use the latest in technology to enhance student learning.
Our Library provides access to a large spectrum of electronic resources, which are available to students in the dorms or at home. We also have a large collection of books, print journals and an excellent team of librarians and staff to assist our students.
Salem State College's academic mission underscores a passionate commitment to learning and to exploring the universe of knowledge.
