The Shadow Box - Performances begin February 23
Playwright Michael Cristofer presents the intertwined stories of three families dealing with terminal cancer diagnoses in his Pulitzer prize winning drama. Joe and Maggie cope with how to tell their 12 year old son Steve that his father is dying. Beverly, her ex-husband Brian and Brian's male lover Mark, navigate how a past love and a newly found love balance the responsibilities of Brian's care. Agnes struggles to hide a terrible secret in order to ease the finals days of her dying mother Felicity. Using compassion and humor the playwright reveals how those left behind learn to survive their loss. Directed by Professor David Allen George.
