So Percussion

Since coming together at the Yale School of Music in 1999, So Percussion has been creating music that is both raucous and touching, barbarous and refined - a nod to the ancient traditions of drumming, and to the future of music, what has yet to be imagined.

With grant support from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the local cultural councils of Salem, Gloucester, and Rockport, the New England Foundation for the Arts, Rockport Music and Salem State College Center for the Arts, So Percussion will present two free performances as well as percussion master classes with area K-12 students.

The Salem State free performance takes place Monday, March 29 at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Seats available on a first come basis.
