SSU NEASC Self-Study 2011

Salem State University

A Note of Thanks from Provost Kristin Esterberg

On behalf of the NEASC Steering Committee, I extend my sincerest thanks to the members of the Salem State community for their support, participation, energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the success of our recent self-study process and site visit. The work of the self-study standards committees provided an excellent manuscript for our gifted editor Patricia Buchanan to work with. Co-Chairs Neal DeChillo and Susan Cirillo kept us all on task and on time. The talent and commitment of  John Caron resulted in an extensive and well organized online document library for the visiting team's use. The focus and attention to detail by Renee Dempsey was key to the seamless flow of the visit's logistics.

Salem State University's commitment to students, collegiality, reflection, and focus on continuous improvement were clearly evident to the visiting team. We have much ahead of us, but we also have much of which to be very proud.

Thank you.

Kristin
