| Job Description: | Assist in planning a developmental curriculum and planning activities. Assist Head Teacher with all curriculum planning and implementation. Responsible for setting up classroom areas; selection of materials and provide a role model for student teacher; attend all staff meetings and staff training. Assist in observing and recording child growth and development and maintain a safe and healthy enviroment. Familiar with documentation & the Reggio Curriculum Approach. Studio arts background desirable. Shop monthly for needed items at local grocery store. Assist with administrative duties (enrollment, licensing and accreditation). |
| Minimum Qualifications: | At least 21 years of age; 4 courses on ECE; at least one year recent preschool teaching experience; must meet all Early Education & Care requirements; First Aid and CPR required. References (3) required. Lead Teacher qualified from EEC. Must meet all NAEYC accredidation guidelines. |
