Wikis and Emerging Technologies

Technologies are constantly being introduced to the faculty. The goal is to find technologies that enhance teaching and learning. Not all tools will work well in every teaching environment. ITS helps faculty to learn the technology and works with faculty members to introduce the technology to students.

PB Works provides a private wiki for a class. This collaborative writing tool allows students to work together on projects and incorporate text, video and images. Faculty can request a full wiki for their class(es) here 

WordPress Blog
Blogs are a great area for discussions that transcends class time. It can be private and it is free. Experiment and find out if this works for you. Faculty can request a blog for the class(es) here.
