Criteria to serve on the Student Judicial Board

Student judicial board members conducting a hearing.

Each year the college selects between 20-30 students to serve on the student judicial board. If selected, each student must attend a series of training sessions to ensure that board members understand the judicial process, conduct fair hearings and protect the rights of all parties.

Applicants for the student judicial board must meet with the following qualifications:

1. Satisfactory academic progress as defined by the College.

2. Not currently on any disciplinary status.

3. No judicial board member may concurrently serve in any capacity at the College which presents a conflict of interest. Specifically, no active Resident Assistant or member of the Student Government Association Executive or Legislative branch may serve on any judicial board.
