Successful grant applicants rely on many resources throughout the grant proposal process. We've compiled a list of key on-campus offices may need to contact, as well as grant search databases and very useful internet links.
Financial Services
The Grant Accounting area of Financial services will assist you in implementing your grant budget and once the award is received, will provide guidance regarding grant payments, invoices, and financial reporting requirements.
Human Resources and Equal Opportunity
If your project requires staffing, paying consultants, fringe benefits, or other personnel needs, consult HR for the proper documentation and procedures.
Registrar's Office
Please consult with the registrar's office for classroom for availability. For other areas on campus, contact as appropriate.
Purchasing
Purchasing will help you follow the procurement policies and procedures of SSU and find the best vendor source for your needs.
Facilities
If your project includes renovation, installation, or improvement to any areas on campus, consult with facilities to coordinate and determine the appropriateness and cost of the work.
Information Technology Services
Consult with ITS for any questions regarding your technology needs or the purchase or installation of any computers or other technology related equipment. If your project requires website hosting and/or development, you will need to consult with ITS to coordinate services and estimate costs.

Regional association of grant makers. Salem State is an AGM member. Please contact Sponsored Programs and Research Administration for passwords for access.
The Grants Resource Center (GRC) is a unit of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. Sponsored Programs and Research Administration can assist you with accessing the many resources that are offered by GRC.
