MERLOT is a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students of higher education. The MERLOT Journal of Online Learning and Teaching (JOLT) is a peer-reviewed, online publication addressing the scholarly use of multimedia resources in education. JOLT is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December. JOLT welcomes papers on all aspects of the use of online multimedia educational resources for learning and teaching. Salem State College is an institutional member of the Sloan Consortium, an international organization formed to help learning institutions improve quality ,sacale and breadth of the online offerings. Every member of the SSC community can create their own Sloan-C login and password and take advantage of our institutional membership. Just go to http://www.sloan-c.org/aboutus/help.asp. Scroll down the page and choose the option that says "Activate My Own Membership Under My Institution/Organization." Once the registration has been submitted, it will be cleared through the system.
