Student Health Insurance

Massachusetts state law requires all students registered for at least 75 percent of a full-time course load to have health insurance. Therefore, students with nine or more credit hours must either:

• enroll in the college sponsored health insurance plan offered by University Health Plans 
• or waive the plan if aleady receiving comparable health insurance coverage.

Online Health Insurance Registration Starts - Date TBA

The process allowing you to enroll in or to waive the insurance will be available shortly. When health insurance registration opens, you must be currently registered for nine or more credits for the fall semester in order to access your information. Allow a couple of days for your information to reach University Health Plans if you are in the middle of the registration process.

IMPORTANT: The deadline for enrolling in or waiving the insurance is September 30, 2010.  If you do not make a selection, you will be enrolled and charged for the college-sponsored Student Health Insurance.
