First TIme Logging Into Navigator

Students

If this is your first time logging in, your password is based on the information you provided to Salem State when you enrolled or registered for your first class.  If the information in your official student record is missing or incorrect, these passwords may not work. To correct your student record please visit the Student Records office. 

Your USER ID is;  S + your seven digit student ID 

Your Password will be;   First 2 letters of your first name (lowercase) + First 2 letter of your last name (lowercase) + Your birthdate (mmddyy) = ffllmmddyy  OR the last 4 digits of your social security number (9999) = ffll9999. 

For example, Mary Jones is logging in for the first time.  Her birthday is Sept 1, 1990 and her last four digits of her social security number is 1234.  Mary will log in with her Student Id of S0123456 and her password  majo090190  or majo1234.

Set up your Password hints!

Look for the "Password Hint Reminder" link after logging in to setup your password hints for those times you may forget your password.
