Health Services
Our staff provides primary and acute care to all Salem State students. Our goal is to help students achieve and maintain optimum physical and emotional health by providing high quality, accessible and affordable health care. We offer primary medical care, consultation on health-related issues, health promotion programs, and referrals and collaboration with area providers. Most services are available free of charge, although certain diagnostic tests are billed to your health insurance.
Our staff includes two full-time nurse practitioners, a supervising physician, a full-time registered nurse, and two administrative assistants.
Services
The following services are available on a walk-in basis during Urgent Care hours for all currently enrolled Salem State students, with the exception of pap smears (call for an appointment), and sports physicals, which must be scheduled through your coach.
