Summer Nature Program

The full six-week program is available in five-, three- or two-day schedules:
Dates: June 24-August 2, 2013
Ages: 2.9 years to 5 years old
Hours: 8 am to 1 pm
A nature project, which is explored daily, is selected at the beginning of the term for the entire six weeks.
Staff
The program is staffed with a lead teacher and three teacher assistants. The class size is 15 children.
Daily Activities
A nature project is explored daily and other activities include both indoor and outdoor experiences that integrate areas such as art, music, science, social studies and language activities with special classroom guests. Past projects include the study of birds, insects, ocean life, and the study of the nearby Forest River Conservation Area.
Daily Schedule
8-10 am: Discovery activities related to the project
10-11 am: Circle time, music and snack time
11 am-Noon: Story time and nature walks
Noon-1 pm: Lunch and outdoor playground activities
Fees
Full six week program at:
Five days (Monday - Friday) - $1,050
Three days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) - $630
Two days (Tuesday and Thursday) - $420
