How to Get Your Card
Getting a ClipperCard is simple
Come to the ClipperCard office located on the second floor of the Dining Commons on North Campus. You will need your student ID number and a state or government issued photo ID (license, state ID and passport are all accepted). All members of the Salem State community receive their first ClipperCard free of charge.
Replacement cards can be purchased for a $25 fee if lost, damaged or stolen. To replace your card you must deposit $25 to your ClipperCash account via salemstate.edu/get with a credit or debit card or at the ClipperCard office with a check or money order. Once the deposit has been made and funds are available please come to the ClipperCard office and we can print you a replacement and charge $25 to your ClipperCash account.
Photos will be taken and cards distributed during orientation sessions. If you are unable to make it to an orientation session not to worry, the ClipperCard office is always staffed during posted office hours. Getting a card takes about two minutes.
