Office Assistant

Great experience for Early Childhood Education or Social Work major looking for human service/agency experience.

Responsibilities

Provide all office and clerical services including, but not limited to:

  • Word processing, filing, and copying
  • General payroll ledger maintenance
  • General reception duties, including greeting visitors
  • Assist with special projects as assigned, including state licensing and accreditation, newsletter production, student registration, and maintenance of the Teacher and Parent Resource Room materials

Preferred Qualifications

  • PeopleSoft experience desirable
  • Accounting background helpful

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent computer and proof-reading/editing skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and use of document/photo scanner
  • Previous office experience
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Proficiency with English grammar

Shifts/Wages

  • 15 - 20 hours per week
  • Hourly Wage: $8.00
