Job Description:
Part-time faculty to teach:
The English Department at Salem State University is seeking adjunct instructors to teach composition courses for non-native speakers of English. Courses are run in the day and evening divisions and meet for either 3 or six hours per week depending on the course. Courses include ENL 100ESL, Introduction to Academic Writing; ENL 101 ESL, Composition I for ESL; and ENL 102 ESL, Composition II for ESL. Candidate must be familiar with contemporary approaches to second language writing. Required Qualifications:
Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Teaching ESL or a closely related field and experience in teaching ESL composition at the college level.
Candidate must be familiar with contemporary approaches to second language writing.
Salary Range: The salary is competitive and commensurate with skills and experience.
