College Savings U-Fund and U-Plan

The U-Fund is a voluntary plan that allows employees to authorize a post-tax deduction from their net pay to save for college, graduate school, and other forms of higher education, as well as room and board, fees and books. U-Fund is a qualified tuition program 529 Plan. Accounts are managed by Fidelity Investments. Employees may enroll through Fidelity Investments at personal.fidelity.com/planning/college/content/ufundfactsheet.shtml.cvs or contact Campus Benefit Coordinator and Payroll Representative.

The U-Plan Prepaid Tuition Program is an easy and affordable way to save for an undergraduate education at more than 80 participating Massachusetts colleges and universities. Contact the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) mefa.org/aboutMEFA/aboutMefa.aspx for more information.
