What YOU need to know:
- Off-campus job opportunities are available for currently enrolled Salem State students regardless of financial need.
- JLD gives you the opportunity to support yourself, help with your educational expenses and gain valuable experience in today's work place.
- Many JLD positions give you the opportunity to improve the quality of life for community residents, particularly low-income individuals, via jobs in health care, child care, literacy training, education (including tutoring), housing, and neighborhood improvement, rural development and community disabilities.
Off-campus positions include a large variety of positions including fields in Health & Human Services, Hotel/Restaurant, Office Support, Retail, and Childcare.
To Apply
- Go to the job boards located outside the Registrar's Office.
- Write down the reference number(s) for the position(s) in which you're interested.
- Give the reference numbers to the Student Employment Office.
- Fill out a Personal Data Form
- You will be given a job referral card with contact information for the positions in which you've expressed interest.
