Branding and Recruiting Opportunities

Please contact career services at 978.542.6406 or career@salemstate.edu for more information on the following options. Career services offers several options for employers seeking to fill full-time, professional, salaried openings: internship and career fairs, on-campus interviews, information tables, class presentations, student club presentations, guest speaking engagements, and company site visits.

Job Postings

Career services offers free job postings for employers. We use Career Services Online (CSO), a web-based recruiting system that allows you to access and manage your job listings from one centralized source. You will receive email reminders when students apply for a job or when a posting is about to expire. Among other things, CSO also allows you to search for qualified applicants.

On-campus Interviews

You provide the job/skill specifications and we will assemble resumes for you to review. We then will arrange appointments for either a half or full day with students and/or alumni you select. Career services will host you here at our office.

We offer two recruiting seasons during the academic year.

  •  The fall schedule (mid-October to mid-November) is primarily reserved for accounting firms who are able to commit to June hires and for companies who are seeking students who will finish their coursework in December.
  •  The spring schedule (early February through March) is open to May graduates who are seeking a June start date.

We utilize Career Services Online (CSO) a web-based recruiting system to manage the on-campus recruiting schedule.

Please Review our On Campus Interview Guidelines [PDF].

Information Tables

Is your company new or do you represent an industry that has great employment opportunities students don't know about? An information table is a great way to increase your visibility on campus and give you an opportunity to interact directly with our students.

Career Fairs

Career fairs are the best way to connect with a large number of qualified candidates. Graduating students from all majors are encouraged to attend, as well as underclass students who are looking for internships or are interested in getting a head start on company research.

Employer registration for the career fair begins the week of November 10.  Please visit Career Services Online (CSO) to register.
