Getting Started

The following websites help you with the basic questions of:

  • " Who am I?" and "How do I choose a major?"
  • "What jobs relate to my major?"    

Focus is an online self-assessment tool that helps you identify your interests, skills, values, and personality.

To get started 1). click on focus logo 2). click on new user to create an account (the keycode for Salem State is clipper). Students are encouraged to follow-up with a career counseling appointment (career@salemstate.edu or 978.542.6406) to discuss the results.
