Design and Print Production

Marketing and creative services provides in-house professional design services to the university community. Graphic designers create and produce projects ranging from 32-page magazines to brochures, invitations and posters. Creative services is also responsible for implementing and managing the Salem State brand. Marketing and creative services is responsible for producing all university publications for administrative and academic areas.

Student groups and clubs may create their own designs for on-campus distribution only as long as they do not use one of the university's logos or other identifying trademarks. Graduate assistants should work directly through their supervisor and all projects and subsequent revisions need to come from the supervisor.

Most design projects can be printed on site at the the university's copy center. Depending on their size and scope, projects may also be sent off campus to be printed by one of the university's approved vendors. Our creative services team will work with you to finish your project on time and on budget.

This department operates much like an agency. All design and print questions, and project requests can be addressed to:

Other Print Needs: University departments are required to work, often independently, with approved Commonwealth vendors to produce speciality products such as clothing, mugs, water bottles, pens, and other promotional items. Visit Salem State's purchasing page to see a list of approved contract vendors. In addition, university's stationery items and name tags must be ordered through Dupli.
