Campus Update January 2012

Fenway singing National Anthem JDR

Following winter break, the Salem State University campus is once again rejuvenated with the return of its 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students. With a busy and very successful first semester behind us, we look forward to making the months leading up to commencement equally productive.

As alumni and friends, we’re certain you’ll appreciate how this video highlights the first semester and captures all the excitement that is today’s Salem State campus. It is narrated by one of our theater students, Jenney Dale Richards ’12, who not only played the lead role in our production of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, but sang the national anthem at the Red Sox-Tampa Bay game at Fenway Park in September (photo above). Please enjoy the video here.

We will be in touch again in the spring with a Campus Update that captures all that is in store for our second semester, culminating with our favorite event, commencement.

See you in the spring.
