Insurance Annual Enrollment
The Group Insurance Commission (GIC) holds two annual enrollments each year: Annual Enrollment is held in April/May each year for a July 1 change date. During this annual enrollment employees can change their health care provider, change from smoking status to non-smoker status, elect a monetary allowance in lieu of Group Insurance Commission sponsored group health insurance, change from pre-tax to post tax life and health insurance, and any other new programs offered that particular year in the annual enrollment. This website will be updated with annual enrollment information closer to the annual enrollment period.
Additionally there is an annual enrollment to join one or both of the Flexible Spending Account Programs. This annual enrollment is held in October/November for a January 1 start date. This website will be updated with annual enrollment information closer to the annual enrollment period.
