What is a Matching Gift?

An easy way to increase your donation to Salem State is to determine if your employer has a matching gift program. Simply obtain a matching gift form from your employer, fill it out and send it to the Salem State College Foundation office with your gift.

Typically, the program will match a percentage of your contribution to the college and may double or triple your gift. Corporate matching gifts can combine with individual gifts to qualify donors for the Sullivan Society ($1,000) or the 1854 Society ($25,000), both of which support the Salem State College Annual Fund.
