Learning Communities
Learning communities offer the opportunity to share a small, dynamic group learning experience connecting two or more courses in an exploration of a common theme. Working together with specially selected Salem State University faculty in small learning teams, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a learning experience designed to help you discover personal strengths and talents. Each community is limited to 20 students. Registration in one section of a learning community requires registration in all sections of that learning community.
Signing up for a learning community is easy. At orientation, you will be able to select a particular learning community during the registration process or you can reserve your space PRIOR TO orientation by filling out the form below and emailing it to firstyear@salemstate.edu. Space is limited, so if you are interested we encourage you to submit your materials early.
